On this day we will visit the Gaza area which experienced the most brutal and
severe attack the State of Israel has known on the morning of Simchat Torah
7.10.2023
On the tour we will meet the people who were there during the difficult times,
we will hear stories of heroism and settlement and we will connect the thin line
from the War of Independence 1948 to the present day around the surrounding
settlements that were established together with the State of Israel – this tour
does not include entry to the kibbutzim that were attacked!
we will start our day over a lookout point from “Kobi Hill” in Sderot on the
Gaza strip.

We will visit the house of the founders of Sderot:
We will watch a spectacular heroism movie screening of the heroism movie on the
police station in Sderot. In this film, all the details of the police battle on 7.10 are
illustrated in an amazing way, including rare photographs from the cameras of the
security forces. The film is recommended for adults only. Not for children, the film is
accompanied by 5 main characters who tell there story on 7/10
A visit to the police station of Sderot
The police station in Sderot is one of the main battlegrounds from the terrorist attack
on 7.10.23. There was a battle between the security forces and about 26 terrorists
who had barricaded themselves in the station. After the fighting continued at the
police station,
From Sderot we will drive on road 232 who also known for the heavy
battels,we will passthe Kibutzim Beri ,kfar Aza and Miflasim.
We will visit Kibbutz Alumim for a kosher lunch in the kibbutz’s dining room.
After lunch we will continue driving on road 232 towards the Nova party site
visiting the Nova Party website
A visit to the Ra’im parking lot where the “Nova” party took place 5 km from the Gaza
border where on the morning of October 7 dozens of terrorists raided the party site
and murdered hundreds of revelers. When visiting the place we will honor the
memory of the victims and hear some of the stories of heroism from the
representative of the families. (*subject to prior arrangement)

We will drive to Moshav “Tekuma” to the open car site of the Nova victims
The apocalyptic appearance of the southern roads on Saturday oct 7th seventh, with
a huge amount of destroyed vehicles, was burned into Israel’s collective memory.
More than one thousand six hundred vehicles, burnt and punctured, some of which
people found dead, were evacuated to Moshav Takuma in the south. The remains of
the cars were piled up and turned into a wall – shocking evidence of the massacre
